The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Pakistan which is also known as Missing kids Pakistan or Missing Children Pakistan concept has been developed in 2001 launched in 2013 to serve as the nation’s clearing house on issues related to missing and sexually exploited children in Pakistan. Today NCMECP is authorized by independent governing body its funding organization National Trust of Pakistan to perform several programs and services to assist law enforcement, families and the professionals who serve them. The leading organization in the Pakistan providing assistance to law enforcement and families to find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation and prevent child victimization and saving the future generation. NCMECP & National Trust of Pakistan role in this area will build on our existing strengths and expertise. The main areas we will focus on include: A) Raising public awareness of the issues associated with missing children; B) Developing strategic knowledge of missing children; providing practitioners with the knowledge, resources and skills to further their professional development; and Offering tactical support on complex cases to police forces. C) Developing facial recognition application. History Conceptualised in 2001, the National Center for Missing & Exploited ChildrenPakistan NCMECP (http://misskingkids.org.pk or http://missingchildren.org.pk or http://www.ncmecp.org ) is the only leading organization in the Pakistan working with law enforcement, families and the professionals who serve them on issues related to missing and sexually exploited children. As part of its National Trust of Pakistan authorization, NCMECP creating a unique public and private partnership to build a coordinated, national response to the problem of missing and sexually exploited children, establish a missing children hotline and serve as the national clearinghouse for information related to this core issue.
