Wonderful historic place to visit. Leads us in to old times. Just imagine the sultan and his army staying and moving here and there in your imagination.

One of the six UNESCO heritage sites present in Pakistan. Garrison fort built by Sher Shah Suri. Brilliant site for tourists with lovely breeze at the top of fort. Very peaceful place for spending some quality time. Government needs to give attention to this place. Some better infrastructural development is need of the hour. Dustbins should be installed at all places here. Lawns should also be developed with tree plantation. People also need to refrain from writing on historic wall of the fort.

So beautiful and peaceful. Just a request to everyone going there please don't throw your garbage on the historical site. Don't write on fort walls. Don't ruin its natural beauty.

Absolutely a treat to visit this marvel of Military and Societal Monument which laid the basis of a future city which such protective walls and a vision that is wide till horizon. Gorgeous designs, high points, a very deep well, and its staircase. The locations are breathtaking and the area is secluded in a deep jungle. Takes a little drive inwards from GT road. And there you go, you have a whole town and a huge fort to visit. I suggest you must be very fit to climb a thousand stairs. My fitness app told me I walked 19,000 steps. Because I precisely climbed till each summit. Im posting photographs for you to see for yourself. It's gorgeous and filled with architectural details.

Amazing and majestic fort, an epitome of military architecture & Islamic heritage. It was indeed a lifetime experience, will never forget it. The government has taken some steps for its conservation, but more should be done!
