Maymar housing was conceptualized in 1980 by the Maymar group. It was a bold initiative and a beautiful and outstanding housing society was built. With ample space, spacious playing grounds were built in the society. All amenities were provided and a very high standard of Civic amenities was set. After 2002 the society's administration changed and a gradual descent took place. It is nothing compared to what it originally was. You still see playgrounds and greenery but the decay can also be seen.

PHA Maymar is a fraud housing project. JSC company PHA Maymar has announced scheme in 2009 and gave schedule for fulfillment 2014, but till today they just have built on 4 floor structure. They are not continuing construction nor giving back money. They mainly cheated govt. employees and overseas Pakistanis.
