Hi, Asunra 400 MG tablet is not %100 working on some thalasemia patients in Pakistan and they have to use desferral infusion pump which is very painfull procedure. Asunra 400 MG 30 tablet packet cost in pakistan is 9248 PKR. Now Novartis in Turkey making the 28 tablet \Exjade 500MG\ packet which is greatly effecting thalasemia patients. My 7 year daughter is thalasemia patient and using exjade 500MG in turkey and it is working on her perfectly to reduce her iron level. The cost of the packet is 1500 TL in turkey which is around 36000 PKR, expensive but it is life saving for thalasemia patients. When my daughter was in pakistan she was taking asunra tablets and desferral injection and it was hardly reducing her iron level, beside getting a lot of pain 5 days a week with desferral injection pump. Why not making the same qulity exjade medicin available in pakistan if the same company is manufacuring in pakistan? if the price is matter then i am sure some wealthy pakistani can afford it and you should make this available to poor at some discount through goverment insurance. In turkey they are giving this medicin free of cost to turkish national, and expats living in turkey can get this medicin packet with insurance at 700TL which is around 17000 PKR. I really want this medicin to be in pakistan. Best Regards
