Quaid House Museum is a beautiful Victorian style building that contains many of the personal belonging of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The building is a beautiful architectural specimen of its time and one is fascinated to see many of the personal belongings, including furniture, crockery, dresses etc that remained in use of Mr. Jinnah and his sister Fatima Jinnah. The whole setup gives a very good idea of the life in 1940s and 1950s. The caretaker is a very knowledgeable person with comprehensive knowledge of history and facts / figures related to the construction / upkeep of the building. Considering the fact that Govt. of Pakistan only spends Rs 6000/- (US 60/-) per month for the maintenance of the museum, the caretaker and his staff are doing a wonderful job in maintaining the facility in a reasonable shape. However, the museum certainly needs attention of the Govt. of Pakistan / Govt. of Sind. The museum is a great source of education for the children & elders alike and certainly needs to be better maintained.

A great experience. It is a must visit place not only for adults but children too. The visit reminds us of how great personality Mr. Jinnah had. He was a man of class which is evident from his belongings at his residency.

Quaid E Azam's Residency is a place to visit if You're visiting Karachi. It gives You some true feelings how our Quaid lived in the past. They have some real belonging of the Quaid and Fatima Jinnah. They somehow renovated the entire building which gives a new and fresh look at the residency. The very own cars used by Our Quaid and Fatima Jinnah are still placed in the premises. The timings to visit the residency is from 8am till 6pm. There is no entry ticket at gate which is good though, so You can visit it for free. You cannot take pictures inside the building of Quaid's and Fatima's belongings but You can click some stutters from the outside.

A very calm and peaceful visit to the main residence of Quaid e Azam. All room are still alive as someone is living here i.e. bed room, dressing room, dinning hall, breakfast table, sofas, dinning rooms, pictures on wall, crockery, shoes racks etc. A bright, well lit, airy home structure can be observed with lawns, galleries and car parking. Many gifts from different countries and decores received by Jinnah family are still there. The visit is free on saturday and sunday. Cloeing time is 4pm. You can find expert guides here who can tell stories of place.

Quaid e azam house museum. Being the founder of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam’s personal history and life wholly meshed with the history of the country itself. Visit this museum to embark on that quest or to admire the colonial building and the peaceful gardens around it.
