The purpose of this astounding field is to research and apply knowledge of physics, chemistry and engineering to solve problems that are associated with a multitude of fields such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, pharmaceutical engineering, metamaterials, polymer industry, mining industries, mechanical engineering, aerospace and much more. It is the vision of NMS that they be the pioneering organisation in the development and promotion of this discipline in Pakistan, and it seeks to complete this mission by facilitating students and researchers in their academic and professional development, so that they serve the industry and provide solutions that would benefit the entire world.
