Great humanitarian institution... founded by Mohtaram Abdul Sattar Edhi sahib & Mohtarma Bilquis Edhi in 1951 at Mithadar Karachi The Edhi foundation started from a single room dispensary. Now the foundation has over 300 centers across the country, in big cities, small towns and remote rural areas, providing medical aid, family planning and emergency assistance. The above Bilquis Edhi home is one of them a shelter for poor deserving needy helpless but "only for men". In short a blessing for the people of Pakistan.
