I feel obliged and honored to congratulate all on the successful achievement of Pakistan Scientific & Laboratory Association (PSLA) formation. Moreover, I am extremely grateful to be elected as first Chairman PSLA 2019. Fortunately, this is the best decision of all the founding members to have set up such an organization in order to face the challenges mutually and work for the growth of Scientific Laboratories in Pakistan at par with international standards. The Analytical Industry plays a vital role in the economic development of any country. May it be Reduction in TBT-Technical Barriers to Trade, Regulatory Compliance, Product Development, R & D, Quality Control/Quality Assurance or Business Development, no industry can thrive and sustain without a reliable Analytical Industry Infrastructure. Especially for a developing country like ours which faces many internal and external challenges, the Analytical testing is a passport to explore new business ventures and to sustain our current share in the global market may it be any industry. The Analytical Industry around the world has transformed very rapidly. We can witness that behind all merging markets, there is a strong analytical testing infrastructure to support it. However, in our beloved country, the analytical industry was never considered as a tool to add more value to the country and was left to survive on its own without the support of the government and Policy Makers. The Vision of PSLA is, therefore, to provide a platform and become the voice of all Scientific Laboratories, Equipment/Consumables Suppliers and Allied Industries to revive the Analytical Industry of our country, making it stronger, world-class and capable to address to the growing needs of our country. Our Vision if top one day start the exports of scientific services and equipment in the world and InshAllah we will achieve it with the support of our valuable members. Pakistan Zindabad.
