In these days heavy restoration work is being very rapidly and this renovation is up to mark with out any damage to original building Now I think this Gurdwara is most beautiful in Nankana Sahib after the restoration work This Gurdawara is famous for the Grazing Cattle of Baba sahib Baba ji used to sleep while cattle were grazing once he was sleeping and sun began shine on his face suddenly a cobra snake appeared and came between the face of Baba ji and sun and tried to save them burning sun that's why this Gurdwara called Maal ji Sahib in Punjabi Maal means cattle

We visited here on a Sikh Yatra trip. This is the location where Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jis cattles were grazing and he was resting under a tree. As the sun moved a cobra appeared and sheltered him from the sun. This was witnessed by a noble man who then donated a large amount of land to the Guru. This place has all been refurbished and is amazing especially the tree which is preserved and they have made a route that takes you under the tree branch and then you walk around the tree at a raised hight.
