Old but Magnificent building structure, located in middle of the city, Quaid e Azam Office as 1st Governor General of Pakistan is originally maintained and kept here, green lawns, different blocks of buildings for various purposes. Entry is granted through special permission, Red tiles on outer side of the building gives a great look, place is tidy and well organised. Mostly official activities are underway here. Gives a nostalgic idea of the past when Karachi was a true city of lights.

Luckily opened up for public in this PTI government. It gives us chance to visit, sense and experience the historical icon. Such a beautiful stone edifice blocks glamour's with it's wooden French windows. It has ample landscape space with numerous decade old trees. There's now a lot of events/ festivals take place for general public.

While the lawns are accessible the indoor museum has now been closed for the public. Still it's great that the Governor House has been opened by Imran Khan's government.
