The Islamic Summit Minar is an obelisk-shaped structure built in the centre of Faisal Square (Old Name Charing Cross), Mall Road in the city of Lahore, Punjab the province of Pakistan. It was built to commemorate the second Islamic Summit Conference held in Lahore in 1974. Its foundation stone was laid on 22 February 1974 on the first anniversary of the conference. It is 155 feet (47 m) high.
This minaret structure was built near Charing Cross, Mall Road in the memory of the Organization of Islamic Conference held at Lahore in 1974. The minaret stands opposite to the Punjab Provincial Assembly and boasts of the stature Pakistan has among all Islamic countries.

It's beautifully constructed contains sovinears for the countries who participated in the 2 nd Islamic summit held at Lahore in 1975(maybe) bit due to security is all time closed and not taken care of.
