I visited the museum in February 2021 with my family. I was very excited to show around my kids (came from London) the historical things of our country. I have to sadly say that the staff from the reception to each department was extremely unprofessional. They had no willingness to assist the visitors in understanding the valuable objects, no welcome greetings or a word of courtesy etc. I believe this might not be in their job description but a smile or welcome greeting wouldn’t cost them anything but would definitely leave a friendly impression forever. Staff should be given basic informative training as per their relevant departments. Staff with proper uniforms and museum lanyards would also add great value to the overall quality of the museum. I couldn’t find any souvenirs shop or booklet stall there. These are sources of revenue and give visitors an opportunity to take some physical memories with them. ( please advise if there is any shop there....) *Harappa* section was closed (read some reviews saying this has been closed for some times). No alternate arrangements were done to display the valuable antiques.

It's a good place for students as it covers cultural awareness, historic concepts. Description is well written, lightning and ambiance is good. We need to work on improving sign for parking, entrance and ticket counter. Digitizing and adding 3D could attract young generation. Activities to engage youth will bring more people. Ticket is reasonable so that all types of people can afford. Souvenir shop and tuck shop could bring more economy.

The place was not well directed, hard to find. Ticket price 20 adult 10 children. Building need attention for renovation. Lots of street dogs in the park leading to museum. Poor eating place near museum. Overall kids were happy.

Employees weren’t following covid guidelines, place seemed dusty/not clean (excluding the Quran section which was amazing) overall it’s a good place but they should start taking more care of a museum holding such history.

We never knew that there are many museums in Karachi and in all the museums we never knew that there is one museum named a National museum of Pakistan situated in Karachi which give you the glimpse of the history with the help of the things that one could never think about. At our first visit we explore so many things, it was a huge experience we got from there and lots of information about the Mughal Dynasty, Gandhara civilization, culture of all the provinces in Pakistan sum up in one gallery and yes things during or before the partition of Pakistan and yes calligraphy of Quranic Literature. It was a WOW experience for me.

Needs proper care. Most of the rooms were closed. The cleanliness was fine. It does need more marketing to attract people. It does have some exciting stuff too.
