It is really nice to see all the nice comments below but it does not necessarily mean that everyone has same opinion about ‘News One’. I used to live near their office before and honestly speaking they are not nice people at all. Firstly, those four heavy diesel generators they have placed just on road creates a lot of carbon and noise pollution for people living nearby. Having them switched on 24/7 is quite painful especially for elderly and young children. Secondly, due to large number of employees and guests, there are a lot of parking and cleanliness issues. Houses nearby have to fight almost everyday with News One employees/guests to at least leave space for one car outside their home. Thirdly, are you guys aware that they have illegally occupied service road (a narrow passage between two houses in all of PECHS area), where they make furniture/stages. This again, causes so much noise for people living nearby. They have this heavy cutter machine for cutting woods and I cannot express how painful its noise is. Lastly, very often I have seen bottles of alcohol lying on the road outside their office. How is this even acceptable in a Muslim country? I am certain that many people in Pakistan are facing with such or similar issues. Guys, we are all Muslims and live in a country whose foundations were based solely on Islam. Our religion, Islam, placed a great emphasis on neighbors right and I can only humbly request you to take notice/action in any way you can to help the people in need no matter where they are in the world especially our Muslim brothers and sisters.
